I know I have been whining about the cold weather here lately but gosh, with this terrible weather there just isn't much else to talk about.
But I have to tell you that yesterday really proved my point about how cold it has been here lately....I got brave enough to drive into our little town to buy some groceries. One of the first things you will notice when you come to Montana is that during the winter when residents stop at the store...or anywhere....they leave their vehicles running. I took me a bit to go away and leave the truck running but in this cold weather the engine cools down so fast.
Okay, back to the my subject. While doing my shopping I stopped in the bakery to buy a loaf of bread and found my favorite kind at the end of the aisle. As I picked up the loaf I thought it felt kind of heavy then I realized it was frozen!!! When I mentioned this to the clerk she said it was probably because the deliver man had just filled the shelves with the bread and because it is so cold outside that the bread froze while in the delivery truck. Okay...you have got to admit that it is really cold here!
So until the weather improves to at least 70 degrees I am going to complain about this bitter cold weather....and toast my bread before I eat it!

Oh well, toast is better this time of the year anyhow. That's cold.

I'd be complaining, too! There is nothing I hate worse than being cold and uncomfortable!
(Except maybe having hot flashes and night sweats!!lol)
Oh Rae, I will take the cold instead of these horrible hot flashes. At least I can step out onto the deck and the cold chases away my flashes in 'a flash'!! Idon't know what to do when winter is gone! Oh gosh, wouldn't be fabulous is they left with the winter?! Well, I can dream can't I?
