This is a mountain that we could see as we drove South of Hamilton on the east side of the Bitter Root river on our way back home to Darby a few days ago. It was a very pretty drive with many great views and my first trip on this dirt road was well worth the slow drive home. I don't even know the name of this beautiful mountain and of course there is a lot of burning going on in the valley so it wasn't a very clear day for pictures.
From mountains to a pretty green field filled with lot's of sheep greeted us on our drive. As we got closer we realized that these sheep were grazing in a field that had been a garden during the summer as we could see things that definitely looked like red leaf cabbage. One way to get the field cleared for winter and new plantings in the spring. Montana... Amazing.
