SUNDAY WILDERNESS

I spent part of the afternoon harvesting Poppy seed pods from the neighbors garden. They look so wonderful in flower arrangements after they have dried. But there was such a cold wind this afternoon that I finally told my neighbor that I would try to come back sometime during the week when it was a bit warmer. The temperature did not get above 35 degrees today and there was a very bitter cold wind too.
So I am home enjoying the warmth of my comfortable couch!

Brrrr 35 degrees is bloody cold. I spent most of today outside and it was in the 60's. Our turn for cold is on the way so I had better not be braggin' too much.

We had a couple of days of rain here in the valley and when the sun came out we saw the snow on The Blues. It's not that cold here yet but it won't be long. I've never see the Poppy seed pods before, they are pretty.

I'm with you- nothing like a warm comfy couch on a cold day!
Can we see a flower arrangement with dried poppies? I'm not sure what they look like.
