On the road again!

We found this "SHOE TREE" out in the middle of nowhere in north central Oregon this past weekend. It was such an amazing site that I just had to turn around and go back for a picture. There seems to be all ages of shoes on this tree. We have no idea how long this tree has been a 'work in progress' or why!

We traveled another 1,031 miles on this trip bring my total of miles traveled in the month of September to 2,321! But it was a wonderful trip as we were able to visit with two different couples that are near and dear to us and we hadn't seen in quite some time. We both enjoyed ourselves so very much that the miles went by very quickly.

So we are home again and back to more packing and planning for the great move.

Oh my goodness, for a moment I thought those are crows sitting in that tree.
Only last year I came across an article in the newspaper telling about the shoe tree.
That must be a sight to see, and yes Hostagirl, my husband would have turned the car around on special demand - for my picture snapping, hahaha!
Glad you could get away and enjoy before the BIG move!! :-)

I would have turned the car around too, those are the pictures worth taking.
Glad you are both back safe and sound.
