TUESDAY TUNES

LADIES!!! Remember....a layer of dust protects the Wood beneath it.

A house becomes a home when you can write 'I love you' on the furniture.

I used to spend at least 8 hours every weekend making sure things were just perfect - 'in case someone came over'. Finally I realized one day that no-one came over; they were all out living life and having fun! NOW, when people visit, I don't have to explain the 'condition' of my home

They are more interested in hearing about the things I've been doing while I was away living life and having fun. If you haven't figured this out yet, please heed this advice. Life is short. Enjoy it!

Dust if you must ............ but wouldn't it be better to paint a picture or write a letter, bake cookies or a cake and lick the spoon or plant a seed, ponder the difference between want and need?

Dust if you must, but there's not much time . . . . with beer to drink , rivers to swim and mountains to climb, music to hear and books to read, friends to cherish and life to lead.

Dust if you must, but the world's out there with the sun in your eyes, the wind in your hair, a flutter of snow, a shower of rain. This day will not come around, again.

Dust if you must, but bear in mind, old age will come and it's not kind. . And when you go - and go you must - you, yourself will make more dust!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived.

THURSDAY NATURE

Our temperature is easing up a bit with a high of about 65 degrees today. Very nice. We are having thunder and lightening at the moment as we have each evening this week. The yard is looking so green since Mother Nature does such a thorough job of watering it for me!

The above photo was taken on one of our adventures last fall near the Bitter Root River when everything was wearing it's fall foliage. I do love the colors of fall.

WEDNESDAY WILDLIFE

I sure wish I could say I took the above photo but I did not. I don't believe there is anything more spectacular than the American Bald Eagle. What an amazing look he has as he goes about his day. And I am so thrilled every time I see one so near our home.
Several of these giant birds spend quite a bit of time in the trees above the Bitter Root river close to our home doing their daily fishing. You can really understand the length of their beautiful wings when they effortlessly launch themselves from their perch in a giant tree and swoop down to the river and arise again with a fish in their claws. It is a amazing sight I have gotten to see but never gotten the chance to photograph it.

SUNDAY WILDERNESS

The temperature is up a bit again today so we have stayed close to home to try to keep out of the heat.
I have spent most of the day in the craft room trying to finish up a project I have wanted to get done for quite some time. And with the help of JW it was completed quickly. It sure feels good to complete something doesn't it?!
Our puppy hasn't been feeling well today so the first thing in the morning I will give Dr. Joe a call and see if he can check her out right away. She has a growth on her nose and today it has grown quite large. Keep good thoughts for us 3 please.
