FRIDAY FLOWERS

This lovely patch of Tulips was a scene I would walk by every morning on my morning adventures when we lived in Washington state. I can imagine how much work this must have been for this gardener when they first planted these bulbs. The rewards are being enjoyed by all the neighbors every year for a long time.

I dug up a tulip bulb from my mom's flower bed when she and dad passed. I planted it hurriedly one November
next to the front step. Every year the yellow flowers bring sweet memories of my parents. Funny how flowers can evoke such emotions.
