OUR NEW TOY

JW HAS ALWAYS WANTED A TRAVEL TRAILER AND I TOO THOUGHT THAT AT THIS STAGE OF OUR LIFE CAMPING IN A TRAILER FAR OUT SHINES SPENDING THE NIGHT IN A SLEEPING BAG ON THE GROUND. GETTING UP OFF THE GROUND IN THE MORNINGS SOUNDS A BIT SCARY AND DIFFICULT TO ME!!

SO WHEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE THE PERFECT TRAVEL TRAILER CAME ALONG NEITHER ONE OF US COULD BELIEVE OUR WONDERFUL LUCK.
THIS TRAILER HAS BEEN PARKED NOT FAR FROM OUR HOME AND WE HAVE LOOKED AT IT EVERY TIME WE CAME AND WENT TO TOWN FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS THINKING "WOULDN'T THAT BE THE PERFECT TRAILER FOR US?!!"

JUST BY LUCK THE OWNERS CAME INTO JW'S WORK PLACE ONE DAY AND JW ASKED THEM ABOUT IT. IT HAD BELONGED TO HIS PARENTS WHO BOUGHT THE TRAILER NEW IN 1971 AND IT HAS NOT BEEN USED SINCE 1999 FOR A TRIP TO YELLOWSTONE PARK. IT IS IN AMAZING SHAPE WITH A WORKING 3 BURNER STOVE, WALL HEATER, WALL LAMP AND THE UPHOLSTERY IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. ALL IT NEEDS IS NEW CURTAINS WHICH I HAVE BEEN ON THE SEARCH FOR FABRIC BUT HAVEN'T FOUND ANYTHING I LIKE YET. IT EVEN COMES WITH IT'S OWN FULL SET OF 1971 MEL MAC DISHES!

BUT THE BEST NEWS OF ALL IT THAT THE GENTLEMAN LET US HAVE THIS GEM FOR JUST $195.00. AMAZING.

SO WE ARE PLANNING TRIPS FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR AND THERE ARE SO MANY WONDERFUL PLACES TO CAMP AND FISH NOT FAR FROM HERE AND WE PLAN TO TRY EVERY ONE OF THEM!
I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY MY TIGER LILIES HAVE WAITED TILL THE END OF SEPTEMBER TO BLOOM. BUT THEY SURE ARE PRETTY. I DO HOPE THE BULBS DO THEIR THING BEFORE THE GROUND FREEZES AND IT SNOWS.
