My walking group and I went on a wonderful trek on a abandoned logging road up the Nez Pierce Pass yesterday. The weather was perfect so a good time was had by all.
This was the lower part of the walk that ran into the Nez Perce road so it was used much more often than the road we had followed. All the flowers are in bloom on the mountain sides and everything is very green and lush looking. They say by the middle of July most of this will be brown from the summer heat. But for now, I am truly enjoy every thing I see on our walks.
